Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps/Infrastructure knowledge to contribute to a Data Centre Migration Project for a Banking customer. You will develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices, design monitoring and alerting, and ensure security best practices across all environments.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in Java, strong backend and cloud skills, and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

7+ years of overall experience in Java development and DevOps.
Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
Experience with Infrastructure & DevOps and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Understanding of deployment processes, server connectivity and resource management; CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.
