Job summary

Luxoft in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps/Infrastructure knowledge to join a Data Centre Migration Project for a Banking client in Singapore. You will develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices, and design monitoring, deployment pipelines.

The role emphasises security, CI/CD, cloud familiarity, and collaboration with engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable solutions across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience.
• Java Development - Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Infrastructure & DevOps.
• Good Understanding of: deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers, server connectivity and management, basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation), pipeline creation and CI/CD processes, experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.
