Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a skilled Java developer to design and build enterprise banking applications in Singapore. You will develop scalable microservices, REST APIs, batch processing, and integrate with external systems using Camel, IBM MQ and Kafka.

Joining a fast-paced team, you will contribute to solution design, implement resilience patterns with Resilience4j, and drive quality through unit tests, JUnit, SonarQube and performance testing with JMeter. Collaboration with stakeholders is key.

Qualifications

• Enterprise banking app development with Java and Spring.
• REST APIs and microservices development experience.
• Message-driven architectures with Kafka/IBM MQ/Camel.
• JUnit, API and integration testing; SonarQube/JMeter usage.
• Resilience patterns and fault tolerance knowledge.
• CI/CD, Git; scripting basics; Temenos TAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade banking apps using Java and Spring.
• Build scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Develop batch processing with Spring Batch.
• Implement resilient services using Resilience4j.
• Integrate with external/internal systems via Camel, IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Develop secure, performant, maintainable code following banking standards.
• Participate in solution design and architectural discussions.
• Create automated tests using JUnit.
• Perform code quality checks with SonarQube and address debt.
• Conduct performance/load testing with JMeter.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical apps.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA and Client teams.
• Participate in Agile practices and release management.
