Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps exposure to support a banking client’s data centre migration. You will develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices, build robust monitoring and deployment pipelines, and ensure security across all stages of development.

Key tasks include designing scalable systems, implementing containerization with Kubernetes/Podman, and leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP for cloud deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience.
• Java Development - Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency
• Infrastructure & DevOps
• Good Understanding of: Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers, Server connectivity and management, Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation), Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman), Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes, Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
