Job summary

re-zoo-me in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps/infrastructure expertise to join a Data Centre Migration project for a major banking customer.

Responsibilities include building Java-based applications and microservices, deploying monitoring and alerting, enforcing security best practices, and resolving issues across development, test and production. You will collaborate with engineers, QA and product teams and stay current with Java and DevOps trends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience.
• Java Development - strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Infrastructure & DevOps.
• Good Understanding of deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers.
• Server connectivity and management.
• Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation).
• Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman).
• Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes.
• Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
