Job summary

YAMAHA MOTOR ASIA PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an IT project professional responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and guiding IT projects under the IT Manager. The role emphasizes coordinating with users and regional teams across Asia, delivering on-time solutions.

You will drive deployments of business applications, manage budgets and deliverables, review risk management and business continuity plans, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years in IT project management or related field.
• Experience in planning, implementing, and supporting IT projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive and coordinate IT projects for line of business applications.
• Coordinate requirements between users and information systems implementation.
• Coordinate deliveries, budgeting, and regional IT initiatives in Asia.
• Plan and execute risk management, J-SOX compliance, and business continuity measures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (include activities and projects)

■ Standard Target of Job Description ruled by Division. Daily reporting directly to Japanese IT Manager and IT General Manager, he/she will be primarily responsible for IT project planning, implementation, maintenance support and team management under IT Manager’s instruction.

Job scope is as such:

• Drive and coordinate projects to implement, deploy and support line of business applications
• Negotiate between user’s requirement and implementation of Information System
• Manage and/or coordinate project deliveries, budget planning and general project management support for regional IT initiatives, applications and solutions in Asia region includes YAMAHA Motor Group companies in Singapore
• Plan, review and execute risk management approach, J-SOX compliance support and business continuity measures
• Any other duties assigned by superior or by company.

■ Individual Job scope ( specifically responsibility, expectation in their role in this IT MTP)

• Make standardization of operational flow about project management for YMAP supported Application systems and about daily operation in YMAP IT Division
• Manage QCD monitoring and improve action

SPECIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATION: (Typical minimum requirements for this position)

• Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in IT or a closely related field
• Practical Experience: 3-5 years in related field
• Professional Business Skills: Prior experience in project management and implementation. Essential IT knowledge of network, server and storage products methodology.
• Interpersonal & Social Skills: Good interaction with people Able to communicate concepts and ideas well. Strong written and verbal communications
• Other Requirements: Able to travel occasionally
