Job summary

Maersk in Singapore is seeking a Senior IT Executive to oversee IT infrastructure for logistics and warehousing. You will support end-users, maintain hardware/software, and contribute to IT projects to enable smooth operations.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy warehouse environment. Travel and on-call support may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• More than 3 years of relevant warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, automation or onsite IT support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of computers, printers, scanners, mobile or RF devices and network connectivity.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in an operational warehouse environment.
• Willingness to travel and provide on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment such as computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks etc
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and support.

• Participate in IT projects to support business requirements.
• Maintain IT documentation, including inventory, procedures, and manuals.
• Provide training and guidance to users on IT tools and best practices.

Responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role involves maintaining hardware and software systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to IT projects to support business goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
