Job summary

SHINRYO CORPORATION is seeking a reliable Senior IT Engineer to support daily IT operations. You will provide technical support to users, maintain IT equipment, and assist with networking, firewall, and Active Directory tasks. You will also support printers and coordinate with external vendors for equipment purchases.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, equipment maintenance, and documentation of IT systems. Prior IT support experience and familiarity with Sophos are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field is required.
• Experience in IT support or helpdesk is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, networking, firewalls, and Windows environments.
• Relevant IT certifications would be beneficial but are not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, network, and general IT issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and office IT equipment.
• Assist with Sophos Firewall administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage Basic Active Directory functions: create/disable user accounts, password resets, access permissions, domain加入, basic Group Policy tasks.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT equipment purchases; installation and maintenance.
• Maintain IT inventory records and assist with onboarding/offboarding from an IT perspective.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as needed.
