Job summary

Mount Alvernia Hospital is seeking a Senior / System Support Officer (IT Asset Lead) to manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets and provide end-user technical support. You will oversee procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades and EOL processes while ensuring license compliance and asset accuracy.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT asset management or IT operations, ITIL familiarity, and strong vendor coordination skills.

Qualifications

Diploma in IT or related field is required.
ITIL certification preferred; procurement certifications are a plus.
3–5 years’ experience in IT asset management or IT operations.
Strong understanding of hardware/software lifecycle and licensing.
Excellent communication and a proactive mindset.
Lead asset-related initiatives and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and end-of-life (EOL) of IT hardware and software.
Ensure timely renewal of licenses and compliance with licensing agreements.
Track warranties and coordinate hardware repairs or replacements.
Monitor software usage and ensure alignment with security policies.
Support IT relocation activities, new setups, and scheduled deployments.
Lead or support ad‑hoc IT initiatives and evaluations.
