Job summary

Cognex Singapore is seeking an accomplished HR leader to own core programs and advise management. You will oversee recruitment, talent development, and employee lifecycle in a dynamic hi-tech environment.

The role requires at least 15 years of multinational HR experience, with manufacturing-site exposure, knowledge of Singapore employment laws, and a proven ability to align HR initiatives with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years HR experience in hi-tech industry in multinational settings.
• Experience with manufacturing sites, sales offices and engineering teams.
• 2+ years of high-volume direct labour recruitment experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore employment laws.
• Experience with international mobility and foreigner employment law.
• Able to work independently, resourceful and flexible.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, planning and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own key HR programs including Talent Review, Performance Management, Compensation Planning and Engagement Survey.
• Oversee recruitment strategies and activities.
• Partner with management to align HR with business strategy.
• Identify talent development needs and implement solutions.
• Coach leadership to improve capabilities and workforce planning.
• Guide managers and employees through lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.
• Lead ad-hoc HR projects with the business and HR teams.
