Job summary

Workato is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Go) to design, build, and maintain Go microservices within the Platform team, delivering reliable, scalable software across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with Infra and SRE, implement APIs, caching, and messaging, and contribute across the full development lifecycle. 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years Go backend experience are required. Strong debugging and ownership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years of Go backend development.
• Experience with distributed systems and solid understanding of core web application building blocks.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Go microservices with a focus on correctness and reliability.
• Collaborate with Infra and SRE teams to ensure high availability and scalability requirements are met.
• Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
