Job summary

ADVANCE SOFTWARE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Cloud Backend Engineer to build scalable microservices in Go, with a focus on high availability and zero-downtime deployments.

You will own design from spec to production, work with Kubernetes on AWS, and ensure robust CI/CD and observability using Prometheus and Grafana. The role requires 5+ years of production experience, strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/Redis, and hands-on DevOps tooling in a cloud-native setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with 3+ years in Go.
• Experience building distributed microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and AWS services.
• BS in CS or equivalent with solid fundamentals in data structures and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and deploy high-concurrency microservices in Go.
• Engineer event-driven pipelines using Kafka or RabbitMQ for low latency.
• Optimize PostgreSQL and Redis schemas, queries, and indexing.
• Containerize services, manage Kubernetes on AWS, and implement CI/CD.
• Participate in on-call rotations and uphold strict code reviews.
