Job summary

NTT Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to design and build enterprise-scale platforms used across large organizations. You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and drive scalable backend systems and APIs.

The role focuses on Java (Spring Boot) and Go, distributed systems, and enterprise platforms, with emphasis on reliability, security, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and Go.
• Proven experience leading the design and development of distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong expertise in Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, REST APIs, and system integration.
• Experience building self-service platforms, workflow automation, reporting systems, or storage management solutions.
• Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, and enterprise observability tools.
• Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services environments.
• Experience as a Technical Lead driving architecture decisions and mentoring engineers.

Mandatory Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience in both Java (Spring Boot) and Go
• Proven experience leading the design and development of distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong expertise in Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, REST APIs, and system integration
• Experience building self-service platforms, workflow automation, reporting systems, or storage management solutions
• Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, and enterprise observability tools
• Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services environments

• Object Storage / S3 platform experience
