Job summary

ADVANCE SOFTWARE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Cloud Backend Engineer to design, implement, and scale high-throughput microservices in Go, emphasizing reliability and clean architecture.

You will own REST/gRPC services, create event-driven pipelines with Kafka or RabbitMQ, and optimize PostgreSQL and Redis while deploying on AWS with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm. A strong CS foundation and autonomous work style are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in production-grade Golang services.
• Experience building distributed microservices architectures under high load.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis caching patterns.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Strong CS fundamentals and concurrency/OOP/functional design.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and deploy high-concurrency REST/gRPC microservices in Go.
• Build event-driven pipelines using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Optimize relational and NoSQL schemas and query performance.
• Containerize services and manage Kubernetes deployments on AWS.
• Implement CI/CD with zero-downtime deployments and proactive monitoring.
