Job summary

Tokyo Electron Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Import & Export Specialist to oversee and optimise international import/export operations, ensuring cost-effective movement of goods across global markets. The role aims to align with broader supply-chain and business objectives.

The incumbent will identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce logistics costs, mitigate risks, and strengthen the organisation’s international supply-chain performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 10 years of importing/exporting, international trade, logistics or supply-chain experience.
• Knowledge of trade regulations, Incoterms, customs procedures and trade documentation.
• Experience with logistics systems (Oracle or SAP) and trade/compliance platforms beneficial.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to liaise with multiple markets and partners, including suppliers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end import and export activities across multiple markets.
• Manage international shipments, customs clearance, and trade documentation.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate complex or high-value shipments and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Monitor shipment performance, lead times, delays and service levels.
