Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to steer accurate SKU forecasting across international and regional markets. You will balance demand with production capacity while maintaining healthy inventory levels.

You will lead rolling forecasts, consolidate inputs from multiple markets, and collaborate with sales, marketing and production to optimize S&OP processes. This is a strategic role in a consumer goods environment with global exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Strong demand planning experience, ideally in FMCG, pharma or life sciences.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting models and planning tools.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the master global demand schedule to give production clear long-term visibility.
• Build rolling 12-month demand forecasts using sales history, seasonality and market trends.
• Consolidate, review and validate forecasts from international markets and regional distributors.
• Work with sales and marketing to factor in promotions, tenders and seasonal spikes.
• Track forecast accuracy metrics such as MAPE and bias, and run root-cause analysis.
• Translate global demand into the master production schedule.
• Convert demand signals into production and packaging schedules.
• Optimise inventory levels to reduce stock-outs and excess.
• Align production capacity and line utilisation with business needs.
• Lead monthly S&OP discussions with global markets.
