Qualifications

7–10 years design and build experience on large-scale apps with CI/CD
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway)
Experience with Cloud Foundry Platform and deployment
Certification in AWS, Java, J2EE, Scrum is a plus
Experience forming delivery capability and building onshore/offshore teams
Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0 protocols
Data modelling in Relational and NoSQL databases
Spring Framework / Spring Cloud familiarity
Knowledge of infrastructure components like webservers, app servers, etc.
Experience designing scalable microservices
Agile Development methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins & Bitbucket

Responsibilities

Drive the build out of capabilities on the Ecosystem Platform roadmap
Collaborate with applications teams and architects to raise engineering quality
Direct architecture and development teams with a hands-on approach
Improve and establish engineering practices and new ones as needed
Create strategy and guidelines to improve software development and delivery quality
Define and own software standards, patterns, and agile delivery practices
Project manage and allocate development capacity to scheduled tasks
Ensure architecture is implemented using agreed patterns across teams
Perform POCs and develop patterns and frameworks
Collaborate with architects and domain experts for fit-for-purpose solutions
Transform requirements into architecture and blueprints using reference patterns
Decompose monoliths into microservices/APIs in a Cloud/DevOps environment
Provide technical leadership during SDLC and gain buy-in from the team
Plan and manage migration from on-prem to cloud-based platform (AWS/VPC)
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture roadmaps and principles
