Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the Ecosystem Platform roadmap and drive high-quality application development. You will collaborate with applications teams and fellow architects to raise engineering standards and deliver value with modern patterns and cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years designing and building large scale applications with CI/CD and TDD.
• Strong hands-on architecture leadership across teams and domains.
• Experience with AWS, Cloud Foundry, Java/J2EE and Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive the build out of capabilities on the Ecosystem Platform roadmap.
• Collaborate with applications teams and architects to raise engineering quality and delivery value.
• Direct architecture and development teams with a hands-on approach.
• Improve engineering practices and introduce new practices where required.
• Create strategy and guidelines to improve software delivery with high quality outcomes.
• Define and own software standards, patterns, and agile practices.
• Project manage and allocate development capacity to scheduled tasks.
• Ensure solution architectures are implemented using agreed patterns with teams.
• Perform POCs and develop reusable patterns and frameworks.
• Transform requirements into architecture and blueprints based on reference architectures.
• Decompose monoliths into microservices and APIs for Cloud/DevOps environments.
• Provide technical leadership during SDLC and secure team buy-in.
• Plan migration from on-prem to cloud-based platforms (AWS/VPC).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture roadmaps and principles.
