Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Singapore seeks a seasoned Product Specialist / Trader to lead fixed income conversations with UHNW clients within Private Banking and Wealth Management.

You will partner with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to embed fixed income solutions, drive revenue and AUM, and identify opportunities across bonds, structured credit, and yield-enhancement strategies. Strong regulatory knowledge essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of fixed income experience in private banking, wealth management, or institutional markets.
• Experience owning products and driving AUM/revenue in a client-facingFixed income advisory capacity.
• CFA charterholders well regarded and CFA/CMFAS/CACS certifications are valued.
• Strong regulatory and suitability knowledge for private banking and premier wealth advisory.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior product partner to Relationship Managers and key stakeholders to embed fixed income into wealth conversations.
• Drive revenue, AUM, and client penetration targets for the fixed income business.
• Identify opportunities across primary/secondary bond markets, structured credit, yield-enhancement solutions.
• Ensure advisory activity, suitability assessments, and product recommendations comply with HSBC policy and governance.
• Escalate and manage conduct, suitability, or reputational risk promptly.
• Coach and mentor junior team members as needed.
