Job summary

HSBC is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a Product Specialist / Trader in Singapore. You will act as a senior product partner to Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors, embedding fixed income into wealth conversations with clients.

Drive revenue, AUM, and client penetration targets across the private banking and wealth continuum, across primary and secondary bond markets, structured credit, and yield-enhancement solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of fixed income experience in private banking, wealth management or institutional markets.
• Proven track record of ownership and growth in a client-facing fixed income advisory role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for UHNW clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior product partner to Relationship Managers and key stakeholders to embed fixed income into wealth discussions.
• Drive revenue, AUM, and client penetration targets for the fixed income business across wealth continuum.
• Identify opportunities across primary/secondary bond markets, structured credit, and yield-enhancement solutions.
• Ensure advisory activity and product recommendations comply with HSBC policy and governance.
• Escalate and manage conduct, suitability or reputational risk in a timely manner.
• Coach and mentor junior team members as needed.
