Job summary

The National University of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated finance administrative professional to coordinate and support budgeting, financial monitoring, procurement, reimbursements and reporting within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

The role involves liaising with the University's central Finance function, supporting management planning and decision-making, and ensuring compliance with university policies and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance, research administration, or grant management.
• Good knowledge of financial processes, internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the Department's finance-related administrative activities, liaising with College and central Finance.
• Support budgeting, monitoring and reporting of expenditures, commitments and fund balances.
• Facilitate procurement, payments, reimbursements and journal adjustments per university policies.
• Process invoices, requests for payment, payroll claims and student reimbursements; liaise with relevant parties.
