Job summary

National University of Singapore seeks a capable finance and administration professional to provide comprehensive support for AM.NUS, ensuring effective research fund management, policy compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations at the Kent Ridge Campus.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, procurement, vendor payments, HR administration, and act as liaison across finance, HR, and procurement units to ensure timely reporting to funders.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, business, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of finance or procurement experience.
• Meticulous with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Strong team leadership and cross-team collaboration.
• Able to problem-solve and work within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective day-to-day financial and administrative operations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and grant/project financial management in compliance with institutional policies.
• Manage procurement, vendor payments, and serve as Delegation of Authority for claims, invoices, and expenditures.
• Coordinate HR administrative functions, including staffing plans, contracts, recruitment support, and leave tracking.
• Act as primary liaison and key contact for finance, HR, procurement, and other administrative units.
• Provide financial and administrative advisory support, including budget estimates, cash flow projections, and variance reporting to funders.
• Undertake additional administrative and secretariat duties as assigned by management.
