Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Process Engineer to provide on-site customer support, training, and process improvement across customer installations. You’ll work with account teams, perform DOE evaluations, and help optimize fabrication processes at customer sites.

You will engage with customers on technical solutions, manage equipment readiness, and ensure safety and quality while enabling smooth startup of capacity additions and systematic improvements.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS/BS with relevant field and years of experience as described.
• Ability to perform Design of Experiments and process control analyses.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer roadmaps and requirements.
• Execute penetration/defense strategies with product groups and demos.
• Startup and capacity addition of Lam systems, matching results to existing setups.
• Design and run DOE evaluations to characterize process windows.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Develop new processes for customer applications and improvements.
• Represent the company professionally to customers and maintain relations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe working conditions on site.
