Job summary

You will manage external contractors, conduct safety reviews, and provide technical assessment and recommendations on facilities issues.

The role collaborates with internal stakeholders and the facilities team, requiring hands-on leadership, budget forecasting, procurement, and continual improvement of facilities

Qualifications

• 15+ years of client-side facilities management or building operations experience, preferably on an education campus or large healthcare setting.
• Strong technical knowledge, ability to challenge contractors and independently recommend practical solutions.
• Relevant facilities, safety, energy or electrical certifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities and building operations; ensure operational readiness, safety and consistent service delivery campus-wide.
• Manage external contractors and vendors; conduct operational and safety reviews and provide sound recommendations.
• Lead procurement and contract management, budget forecasting and regulatory compliance.
• Drive incident follow-up and continuous improvement of facilities policies, processes and systems.
