Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a senior officer to lead the export shipping team and oversee daily operations from Tuas. You will manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and L/Cs, while ensuring compliance with Singapore and international regulations.

You will coordinate shipping planning with customers and vendors, negotiate freight rates, and monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

Experience in export documentation and L/C management.
Strong knowledge of customs compliance and import/export rules.
Experience leading an export shipping team.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the export shipping team and daily operations.
Oversee export documentation including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates and L/C documents.
Ensure customs declarations and export activities comply with Singapore and international regulations.
Manage forwarding, shipment planning and coordination with customers, vendors and statutory authorities.
Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with shipping lines, forwarders and transport vendors.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints and disputes.
Monitor shipping KPIs, costs and operational performance.
Support ISO9001 compliance, reporting and continuous process improvements.
Train and mentor the export shipping team.
