Job summary

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Acquire understanding knowledge of revenue and costs elements applied in pricing
  • Understanding of local charges and recoveries in all POLs and PODs in the service responsible for
  • Familiarity with the country trade impex, total market size, commodities moved, lines serving the ports in the country
  • Compile MRG monthly for distribution by 20th of every month
  • Support GSC KAM in tender pricing
  • Understand equipment imbalance situation for the country the exec is handling
  • Pre-carriage and post carriage costing for non base ports
  • Conclude RFA timely 24hrs
  • Obtain weekly market reports for countries to monitor lifting and freight movement
  • Monitoring of agent’s performance in terms of the vessel profile set for respective agencies.
  • Perform yield management to drive for the best cargo mix
  • Assist in feasibility studies on pricing strategies and trade services, and be involved in business development plan and other trade commercial projects
  • Involve in and understand all key components of the trade service P&L and know where to improve
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor
Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Business or an equivalent field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pricing analysis or commercial roles within the shipping industry.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Meticulous, outgoing, assertive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
