Job summary

ST Logistics Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Higher Executive - Secured Logistics to develop and implement warehouse operational policies, standards and procedures. You will monitor storage utilization and drive data-driven decisions to boost productivity and efficiency in the warehouse.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology, manage warehouse operations, and support risk management and quality initiatives to sustain reliable logistics

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in procurement, logistics or supply chain.
• 1–3 years of relevant warehouse operations experience.
• Familiarity with MS Office and basic analytics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize warehouse storage and utilization.

Job Summary

The Higher Executive - Secured Logistics is responsible for development and execution of operational policies, standards and procedures for the Warehouse. He/she monitors and optimizes storage and utilisation levels; making data-driven decisions to improve productivity and efficiency of the warehouse.

Analytical and logical, he/she is required to explore solutions and analyse the feasibility of plans. He/she is also expected to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology, and to assist in the management of the warehouse operations department.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)

• Manage stakeholders to monitor completion of requirements and activities


• Participate in value-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation


• Adhere to organisation's governance, compliance issues and reporting processes


• Manage key accounts through maintaining close contact with stakeholders


• Communicate with key account managers to identify new businesses and grow relationships that assist in revenue generation within assigned verticals


• Review latest technology trends for adoption application to logistics business


• Facilitate interactions between internal and external partners to design and implement technology projects


• Coordinate overall transportation operations


• Develop transport risk management plans to improve process of transport execution


• Execute warehouse operations performance goals using quality management knowledge


• Develop warehousing standards for quality management systems

• Proficient in use of MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications


• Knowledge of SAP / WMS will be an added advantage

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

• Degree / Diploma in Procurement / Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent certifications

• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations.
