Job summary

BreadTalk Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Singapore to manage end-to-end payroll processing for a fast-paced retail environment.

You will partner with HRBPs and vendors, ensure statutory payments are submitted, and deliver payroll reports to Finance and HR. Strong attention to detail and 1–3 years of payroll experience are desired.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Employment Act, CPF & Income Tax legislation.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and BIPO is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience in high-volume payroll in Retail/F&B or fast-paced industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and payroll operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with local legislations and internal policies
• Act as a primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, collaborating closely with vendors and HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
• Responsible for statutory payment submission, such as CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS Claims and Government-Paid leaves (i.e. Maternity, Shared Parental, Childcare leaves)
• Provision of payroll reports to internal stakeholders (i.e. Finance, HRBP)
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to enhance efficiency.
• Support various HR/payroll projects and perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• At least 1-3 years of hands-on Payroll processing experience
• Proven track records in handling high volume transactions in Retail, F&B or fast-paced industry will be an added advantage.
• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Employment Act, CPF & Income Tax legislation.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience in SAP SuccessFactors and BIPO will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated expertise in overseeing system migrations and implementing system changes.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion.
• Must be resilient and adaptable to changes, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
