Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Facilities Manager in Singapore to oversee daily inspections, manage repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role includes handling resident concerns and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Ideal candidates hold a diploma/degree in relevant fields and possess strong interpersonal skills. Certifications such as BizSafe Level 2 are preferred. This position requires shift duties and supports 24/7 operational continuity.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:15pm, and Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Conducts daily inspections of rooms, common areas, and facilities; ensures defects are promptly rectified. Manages repair and maintenance works, cleaning, pest control, and landscaping services. Coordinates security and safety matters with service providers and ensures readiness of rooms/assets. Monitors contractor performance and escalates issues to Dormitory Manager where required.
Manages resident check‑in/check‑out, room allocations, and occupancy records. Handles resident grievances, complaints, and welfare concerns in a timely and professional manner. Supports health, hygiene, and welfare initiatives such as medical alerts, engagement programmes, and events. Conducts onboarding/orientation sessions to ensure residents understand dormitory rules and procedures.
Coordinates SHERP reporting and submissions to relevant authorities. Prepares weekly activity reports, occupancy dashboards, and incident summaries for management review. Supports regulatory inspections, audits, and licensing compliance (FEDA, MOM, SCDF). Monitors and enforces House Rules, including addressing violations and issuing notices where necessary. Assists in reviewing and improving operational SOPs and processes for greater efficiency.
Responds promptly to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations, escalating when necessary. Participates in dormitory drills, safety briefings, and emergency preparedness activities.
Liaises with employers, subcontractors, and service providers on dormitory‑related matters. Builds and maintains effective relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and authorities. Works collaboratively with Tenancy Management, Security, and Housing HQ to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements: Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Hospitality, or related disciplines. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in dormitory/hostel/facilities management. Candidates without experience are welcome to apply. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with residents, employers, and service providers. Good problem‑solving, decision‑making, and crisis‑management abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with digital reporting tools. Possess BizSafe Level 2 or Safety Officer Level B certification and above is an advantage. Fire Safety Manager certification is an advantage. Willing to perform shift duties or be on standby for emergencies to support 24/7 operational continuity.
