Job summary

n & t engineering enterprise (pte) ltd seeks an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring smooth project execution and maintenance across sites. You will lead a diverse team of engineers, supervisors and technicians, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, monitor costs and schedules, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering/operations experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore safety regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day engineering operations and ensure smooth project execution and maintenance.
• Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and site personnel.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor works to meet timelines, budgets and standards.
• Review plans, drawings, specs, method statements, and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations, safety requirements, codes, and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams.
• Identify issues and implement solutions to improve productivity and quality.
• Monitor costs and assist management in controlling expenses.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Review and approve technical, inspection and progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections for quality, progress, safety and compliance.
• Manage emergency, breakdown and urgent works as required.
• Develop SOPs and improve engineering work processes.
• Assist management with manpower planning, training and evaluations.
• Maintain good relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare operational and management reports for senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
