Job summary

JurongHealth Campus is seeking a Facilities Manager/Project Manager to oversee R&R projects and the maintenance of existing and new facilities. The role involves supervising outsourced maintenance, implementing improvement programs, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable facility operations.

You will develop plans, write reports, and manage projects across integrated operations, with involvement in audits and accreditation processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with PM experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Healthcare facility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Repair and Replacement (R&R) projects.
• Carry out maintenance of existing structures and project management of current and new facilities.
• Supervise preventive maintenance works by outsourced service partners.
• Implement programs for operations, maintenance and improvement of building facilities, equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop work plans to improve reliability and integrity of systems.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Update Management on Integrated Operations and improvements (e.g., Kaizen).
• Analyze and develop maintenance contracts.
• Perform shift coverage when required.
• Develop plans at all levels, write reports/papers and provide project updates.
• Take on project manager role in various integrated operations areas.
• Support the Department in audits, inspections and accreditation.

Oversees Facilities Management, Engineering and Operations projects from planning, execution to final completion to ensure a safe and conducive Environment of Care (EOC) for patients, visitors and staff is provided for at all times

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

• Manage Repair and Replacement (R&R) projects

• To implement various programs for the operations, maintenance and improvement of the building facilities, equipment and infrastructure

The Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline with at least 2 years of experience in Project Management
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a high technology manufacturing or healthcare environment would be an added advantage
