Qualifications

• MS + 3-4 years of relevant dry etch experience in semiconductor industry.
• PhD + 1-2 years in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, Physics, Chemical physics, Chemistry, Semiconductor engineering or related majors.

Responsibilities

• Develop dry etch processes to meet electrical requirements of Micron’s products.
• Optimize dry etch to reduce cost, variability, and improve process capability.
• Collaborate with process integration and other development teams to create innovative solutions.
• Conduct root-cause and failure mode analysis to understand hardware limitations and drive vendor solutions.
• Perform fundamental research to drive innovations for next-generation products.
• Maintain a technology development pilot manufacturing line.
• Support process transfer to production facilities; domestic and/or international travel may be required.
