Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Staff engineer to lead next-generation dry etch research and development for NAND. You will design and optimize dry etch processes, collaborate with process integration, and drive innovative solutions while ensuring cost and yield targets.

Domestic and international travel may be required. The role requires deep expertise in dry etch, transport phenomena, and and data-driven problem solving, with opportunities to influence product roadmap and process

Competenze

Demonstrate research and development aptitude in science and engineering fields.
Examples of experimental design and data analysis.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to resolve complex issues via root-cause or model-based methods.
Experience with statistics and Statistical Process Control is preferred.

Mansioni

Develop dry etch processes to meet physical and electrical specs of Micron products.
Optimize dry etch processes to reduce cost and variability and improve capability.
Collaborate with process integration and other process development teams.
Perform root-cause and failure mode analysis to drive solutions.
Conduct fundamental research for next-gen products.
Maintain a technology development pilot manufacturing line.
Support process transfer to production facilities; some travel may be required.
