Job summary

MCI Career Services is seeking a Senior Engineer (Building) for Facility Management in Singapore. You will work closely with Site Lead and Group FM to establish clear accountability and deliverables for the Site Building Trade team, ensuring contract clarity and performance.

You will assist in end-to-end contract management, oversee specialist vendors, guide maintenance activities, and support system investigations, inspections, and maintenance program reviews to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Management of Civil & Building Services in Healthcare
• Certificate in Fire Safety Manager/Officer advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil & Building Services

Responsibilities

• Work with Site Lead, Group FM and Building Trade Lead to define accountability and deliverables for the Site Building Trade team
• Assist in end-to-end contract management including pre-signing responsibilities of Contract Owners
• Ensure Building Trade Team understands accountability for service performance and lapses
• Assist Building Trade Site Team with facilities operations such as breakdown investigations, inspections, audits, and maintenance program reviews
• Oversee specialist vendors and maintenance agents to meet KPIs and ensure consistent performance
• Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts
• Oversee and monitor performance of specialist vendors under awarded contracts such as Irrigation, Water Dispenser, Boiler systems

Responsibility

• To work closelywith Site Lead, Group FM and Building Trade Lead, Group FM in buildingclear accountability, expectations and deliverables for the Site BuildingTrade team
• To assist for goodcontract management with Civil & Building systems with clear end-to-endexpectations on contract management which include the Pre-signingresponsibilities of the Contract Owners
• Ensure Buildingteam members are aware of their accountability for service performance orlapses.
• To assist BuildingTrade Site Team in facilities operations such as system breakdowninvestigations, inspections, audits, review of maintenance program,etc.
• To oversee andguide the specialist vendors and maintenance agent to meet their KPIs toensure consistent performance
• Contract drafting,evaluation, negotiation, and execution
• To oversee andmonitor the performance of specialist vendors with the awarded contractse.g. Irrigation System, Water Dispenser & Boiler System, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Management of Civil & Building Services in the Healthcare industry
• Certificate in Fire Safety Manager/ Officer or relevant fire safety experiences will be advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil & Building Services
