Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Employee Benefits broking/consulting/client management experience.
• Ownership of complex client relationships, renewals, placements and insurer negotiations.
• Strong analytical capability with claims, utilization, premiums, loss ratios and benchmarking.
• Consulting ability to diagnose issues and present evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Commercial confidence in prospect meetings, proposals and pitches for new-business growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• High standards of accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior day-to-day relationship lead for an assigned portfolio with HR, Finance and senior stakeholders.
• Own the client service plan, renewal calendar, governance rhythm, deliverables and escalation management for each account.
• Lead renewal strategy discussions translating client objectives and budget into market approach.
• Coordinate placement, insurer engagement, negotiation, implementation and ongoing servicing.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen programme design, employee experience, administration and cost efficiency.
• Oversee complex service or claims escalations with internal teams and insurers to deliver clear, documented outcomes.
• Analyze claims, utilization, loss ratios, premium movement, demographics and benefit design to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare renewal reports, programme reviews, benchmarking and executive-ready recommendations.
• Advise on plan design, market competitiveness and cost-containment options.
• Contribute to development of consulting methodologies, templates and reporting standards.
