Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Senior/Principal Embedded Software Engineer (Flash Memory) to design and integrate embedded software within a multinational team. You will define architectures for persistent memory management, including wear levelling, data integrity, and security, while collaborating with system architects to translate requirements into memory solutions.

The role requires strong C/C++ proficiency for embedded systems, hands-on experience with eMMC/NAND flash, and knowledge of boot

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/CE or related field.
Experience in embedded systems architecture and memory technologies.
Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems.
Hands-on with eMMC or NAND flash memory and low-level drivers.
Understanding of microcontrollers/SoCs and memory controllers.
Experience with debugging tools (emulators, analyzers, oscilloscopes).
Familiarity with ASPICE or automotive standards is a bonus.
Ability to design reliable, safe and durable memory solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate embedded software within a multinational engineering team.
Define software architecture and concepts for memory management including wear levelling, data integrity, and security strategies.
Collaborate with system architects to translate requirements into memory solutions.
Develop and maintain low-level drivers for eMMC and NAND flash memory.
Implement bad block management, data integrity handling, and longevity optimisation.
Drive memory bandwidth benchmarking and performance optimisation; support field issue analysis.
