Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a Firmware Engineer to design and integrate firmware IP for SSD products. You will work across the product development lifecycle, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability in Micron SSDs.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering and at least 2 years in embedded systems, with strong communication skills and experience with firmware programming.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering is required.
At least 2 years of experience in embedded systems development.
Experience with firmware/embedded programming is essential.
Storage interface experience (SATA, SAS, PCIe) and NAND knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop firmware IP subsystems for SSD products meeting technical specs (performance, endurance, capacity, function, quality).
Create firmware unit and functional tests to ensure quality and performance across the product lifecycle.
Communicate status and technical details to management and cross-functional teams clearly and regularly.
Foster collaboration within the team and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
