Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Memory Diagnostics engineer to design, develop, and validate tests for memory subsystems in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. You’ll work with HW engineers to understand memory traffic, push bandwidth, and ensure robust diagnostics across complex hardware platforms.

The role requires strong C++ software skills, experience with memory technologies, and collaboration across diverse engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with JEDEC DDR memory standards.
• Experience developing DRAM/memory stress tests for bandwidth, latency, data integrity.
• Experience with PCIe and high-speed interfaces.
• Experience in Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative diagnostics by applying knowledge of memory subsystems, caches and DDR/GDDR/DRAM technologies.
• Code, debug and optimize functional and stress tests for memory subsystem and system-on-chip hardware IP.
• Identify and resolve chip, board and firmware issues; ensure high quality software and hardware coverage.
• Drive improvements to framework and test architectures to enhance HW coverage and debuggability.
• Leverage AI-enabled coding tools for code generation, design, review, and optimization.
