Job summary
Rockwell Automation seeks a Staff System Firmware Engineer in Singapore to lead architecture and development of system-level firmware for industrial automation products. You will drive firmware platforms, oversee design reviews, and mentor teams while collaborating with global partners to align technical direction and product strategy.
The role requires strong C/C++ expertise, real-time systems experience, and familiarity with Green Hills Integrity OS and CI/CD practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with firmware concentration or equivalent.
- 7+ years in embedded firmware design, real-time systems, and device drivers using C/C++.
- Experience with Green Hills Integrity OS, TCP/IP networking, and version control (Git) for CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and evolution of system-level firmware platforms for industrial automation products.
- Define firmware interfaces across firmware, hardware, systems, and cybersecurity domains.
- Mentor firmware engineers and lead critical architecture/design reviews and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with global partners to align technical direction and product strategy.
- Represent Rockwell Automation in technical discussions with customers and partners.
