Job summary

Rockwell Automation Singapore is seeking Senior/ Firmware Engineers focused on communication protocol development. You will design, implement and test firmware for multiple protocols, while collaborating with a global team to shorten product cycles and ensure security practices.

The role requires 2+ years in protocol development with C/C++, and familiarity with embedded and cybersecurity methodologies relevant to industrial products. Hybrid work and modern tooling are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in communication protocol development with C/C++ for real-time firmware.
• Experience in embedded firmware development for drives or industrial products.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for embedded systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify firmware across multiple communication protocols.
• Develop and test firmware for protocols such as Ethernet/IP, BACnet, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus TCP.
• Collaborate with global teams and lead firmware development in Agile environment.
• Investigate firmware anomalies with testing and customer support teams.
