Job summary

Randstad Singapore seeks a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a highly automated manufacturing facility. You will ensure health, efficiency and continuous improvement of electrical systems, leading preventive maintenance and complex troubleshooting on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include TPM modernization projects, SAP-based maintenance management, safety compliance (LOTO, ISO docs), and collaboration with Plant Engineering Manager on installations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5–10 years of maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a highly automated manufacturing or industrial plant.
• Strong practical expertise in Automation and Control engineering, specifically with Siemens TIA Portal, PLC S7/S5, and Siemens drives (Master drives, Micromaster, Sinamics).
• High proficiency in interpreting complex electrical circuit diagrams.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Willingness to support shift coverage, overtime onWeekdays/weekends, and on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance; perform root cause analysis to implement long-term corrective measures.
• Spearhead maintenance modernization projects, TPM, and use SAP to streamline maintenance processes and spare parts procurement.
• Enforce safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and maintain ISO documentation; authority to halt production lines when needed.
• Partner with Plant Engineering Manager to execute new machine installations, equipment upgrades, and efficiency improvements.
• Train, mentor, and guide maintenance technicians on automation technologies.
