Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical system design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with standards and project specs.

You will develop drawings, mentor contractors, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time. The role requires 5+ years in electrical design, proficiency with CAD tools, and hands-on problem solving; immediate-start is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Electrical Engineering or similar, recognized universities under the BCA.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical system design.
• Knowledge of system migration, system integration, tie in, and system modification of equipment (FC, Generators).
• Good knowledge of HT, Frequency converter, Generator Set (New build or replacement).
• Experience in electrical CAD Tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, collaboration, organization and problem-solving.
• Able to start work immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Oversee and lead electrical system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Coordinate installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with different project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Address and resolve technical problems and issues with various parties.
• Prepare MOS (inspection test plan, safe work procedures) and other documents such as RFI.
• Prepare reports (weekly, monthly) on job progression and completion.
• Prepare work schedule micro program, plan ahead of work program, conduct presentation, track and monitor progress of tasks.
• Provide guidance and lead team of contractors and execute operation or push works.

About the role
