Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning across projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

You will develop plans, review drawings, lead troubleshooting, coordinate with stakeholders, and prepare documentation such as MOS and RFI while guiding a team of contractors. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical system design.
• Experience with HT, frequency converters, and generator sets.
• Experience with electrical CAD tools.
• Able to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, installation, commissioning of electrical systems.

Job Description

• Oversee the electrical-related technical specification, design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Provide technical expertise in the development of electrical engineering plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Develop and review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Oversee and lead electrical system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Understanding of electrical methodology and interfacing sequences.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Collaborate with different project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Address and resolve the technical problems and issues with various parties.
• Prepare MOS (inspection test plan, safe work procedures) & other documents such as RFI etc.
• Prepare report (weekly, monthly) on job progression and completion.
• Perform Communication with all levels and resolve conflicts arising.
• Provide guidance and lead team of contractors and execute operation or push works.
• Prepare work schedule micro program, plan ahead of work program, conduct presentation, track and monitor progress of tasks.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence.
• Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
• Degree / Master in Electrical Engineering or similar or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA.
• Strong attention to detail, team working, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• At least 5 years of Experience in electrical system design.
• Knowledge of system migration & system integration plus tie in & system modification of equipment (FC, Generators).
• Good Knowledge of HT, Frequency converter, Generator Set. (New build or replacement).
• Experience in electrical CAD Tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad software.
• Able to start work immediately or short notice.
