Job summary

LINKS HR SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee design, installation and commissioning of electrical systems in line with industry standards and project specs.

You will develop plans, drawings, and procedures, and lead coordination across stakeholders to meet schedule and quality targets. At least 5 years in electrical system design is required with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical system design.
• Experience with electrical CAD tools and drawings.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the electrical-related technical specification, design, installation,and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industrystandards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Provide technical expertise in the development of electrical engineering plans,specifications, and procedures.
• Develop and review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications,ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Oversee and lead electrical system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, andimplement corrective actions as necessary.
• Understanding of electrical methodology and interfacing sequences.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customerrequirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technicaldrawings, or topographical maps.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements bydirecting or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction,maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Collaborate with different project stakeholders to ensure project goals aremet.
• Address and resolve the technical problems and issues with various parties.
• Prepare MOS (inspection test plan, safe work procedures) & other documentssuch as RFI etc.
• Prepare report (weekly, monthly) on job progression and completion.
• Perform Communication with all levels and resolve conflicts arising.
• Provide guidance and lead team of contractors and execute operation or pushworks.
• Prepare work schedule micro program, plan ahead of work program, conductpresentation, track and monitor progress of tasks.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader toinfluence.
• Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
• Degree / Master in Electrical Engineering or similar or equivalent, recognizeduniversities under the BCA.
• Strong attention to detail, team working, collaboration, organization, andproblem-solving skills.
• Atleast 5 years of Experience in electrical system design.
• Knowledge of system migration & system integration plus tie in & systemmodification of equipment (FC, Generators).
• Good Knowledge of HT, Frequency converter, Generator Set. (New build orreplacement).
• Experience in electrical CAD Tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad software.
• Able to start work immediately or short notice.
