Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive/Project Engineer for Electrical/Mechanical Services to lead building services coordination on underground MRT stations. The role involves managing contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and supporting project cashflow planning.

The position requires experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, strong leadership and communication skills, and flexibility for occasional night work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering principles and practices.
• Relevant working experience preferred on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good appreciation of interface requirements between civil and electrical works.
• Strong project management and leadership skills with a proven track record.
• Good communication and presentation skills; able to convey ideas clearly.
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and results-oriented.
• Able to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in managing Building Services Contractors for underground MRT station construction.
• Oversee safety, quality and progress of contractors’ works.
• Assist Project Managers in planning cashflows and issuing instructions; assess variations/payments/claims.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, designers, stakeholders and railway operator to ensure well-coordinated delivery.
