Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive/Project Engineer, Civil to lead contractor management on MRT lines and enhancements. You will oversee stations and tunnel construction, ensuring safety, quality, progress and environmental compliance.

You will also assist in planning risks and cashflows, issuing instructions and assessing variations/ payments/claims, from project offices in Changi or Tuas as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil engineering with familiarity with local codes and transit construction.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Underground construction experience, especially deep excavation and tunnelling, is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of constraints and interfaces between civil and trackwork.
• Excellent project management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in managing Contractors in MRT line construction and enhancements.
• Oversee management of Stations and Tunnel construction works.
• Ensure safety, quality, progress and environmental compliance of Contractors’ works.
• Assist in planning and managing risks and cashflows of contracts, and issue instructions.
• Assess variations, payments and claims under the contracts.
