Job summary

SMITECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Project Lead to drive planning, execution and handover of major M&E works in Singapore. You will coordinate with LTA, consultants, main contractors and suppliers while overseeing site activities, safety and quality.

Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Building Services, with a minimum of five years of M&E project experience in Singapore. MRT/rail or tunnel project exposure is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant M&E project experience in Singapore.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with LTA MRT/rail/road or tunnel projects is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of M&E systems and site coordination is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage M&E works from planning to handover.
• Coordinate with LTA, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review M&E drawings, method statements and material requirements.
• Oversee site activities, manpower, subcontractors and deliveries.
• Monitor schedules, costs, progress, quality and safety.
• Resolve M&E technical and interface issues; coordinate inspections and testing.
• Support procurement, variations, claims and project reporting.
• Attend site on Saturdays or weekends when required.
