Job summary

Land Transport Authority of Singapore seeks a capable supervisor in the Rail Group (Electrical and Mechanical) to oversee rail transit construction projects. You will assist Engineers in reviewing contractor submissions, test procedures, and shop drawings, and monitor site progress to ensure timely completion.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering, strong project management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Strong project management skills.
Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to perform shift work including weekends.
Candidates with strong relevant years of experience may be considered for senior positions.

Responsibilities

Supervise construction of rail transit projects and assist engineers in reviewing contractor submissions, test procedures, method statements and shop drawings.
Monitor progress of contractor site activities to ensure timely completion of work.
Coordinate with Building Services, Environment Control System, Electrical Services and Fire Protection disciplines as assigned.
Review and endorse materials submissions and test results to ensure compliance with specifications.
Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project schedules.
