Job summary

StarHub Ltd. Senior DevOps Engineer role to lead end-to-end cloud-native delivery, including design, development, QC testing, and CI/CD automation. You will manage Kubernetes operations, infrastructure provisioning, and software upgrades to maintain reliable, secure, and scalable systems.

Collaborating in a team with on-call rotations, you will handle production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to architecture, automation, and runbooks for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years Java enterprise development with Spring Boot.
• Strong microservices and REST API design knowledge.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD tooling.
• Hands-on with Jenkins and OpenShift deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices in Java/Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage services on OpenShift/Kubernetes, including Helm.
• Implement RESTful APIs with performance and security in mind.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for automated builds.
• Perform on-call support and incident root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to security, DR readiness, and documentation.
