Job summary

StarHub Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps & Application Engineer to design, automate, and optimize the build-and-release ecosystem across StarHub’s cloud-native platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

You will manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments (EKS & OpenShift), develop CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, write build scripts (Shell, Python, Groovy), implement GitOps (Argo CD or Flux), provision AWS resources, and contribute production-grade code in Python, Go, or

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Software Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
4+ years of combined experience in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering.
Expertise with containerized environments, Kubernetes internals, and Helm.

Responsibilities

Define and enforce DevOps policies and best practices, with a focus on trunk-based development and CI gates.
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (Pipeline-as-Code).
Write and manage build scripts and infrastructure tooling (Shell, Python, Groovy).
Administer multi-cluster Kubernetes environments (EKS & OCP), including Helm, RBAC, networks, and autoscaling.
Implement GitOps workflows (Argo CD or Flux) for reproducible deployments.
Provision and manage AWS resources (EKS, RDS, EC2, S3, IAM).
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Contribute application code in Python, Go, or TypeScript; participate in code reviews and profiling.
Establish observability with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch; manage incident-response workflows.
Author technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
